Pretty Elbury Cove is a 20-minute walk and Broadsands beach and the old fishing port of Brixham are a few minutes’ drive. Take a steam train to Kingswear, ferry to Dartmouth, or visit Paignton Zoo, Dartmoor and many National Trust properties. Shops 2 miles, pubs ½ mile.

It would have been useful to have local info, instructions for appliances etc. Also minor repairs needed. List left for owner so hopefully these will be resolved. Cottage layout very good and suited our needs. Unlikely to return due to location.

Mulberry Cottage is delightful inside. It has been converted with taste and style. It was a wonderful home from home and has all the amenities one could need. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the tassimo machine with some complimentary Americano was a nice surprise. Parking is just opposite, and while there are two spaces it's tight to get in and out if you have a big car, but perfectly manageable. We had a couple of glitches with instructions for kitchen appliances not being in English but the owner was very quick to respond and sorted things straight away. They could not have been better. Showers were all hot and strong and beds very comfortable. The courtyard got sun for much of the day and the table for Mulberry has sun in the evening which is great for BBQs. We'd definitely return.

Lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable but could have had newer, bigger and softer towels. The plug sockets were not by the mirror in the main bedroom so difficult to dry hair. Also the property would really benefit if it had a book of local information and instructions for the cooker written by the owner.

We had a lovely week, good location which made it easy to get out for walks and do 'touristy' stuff. There where a couple of little frustrations with the cottage, but importantly we stayed warm and dry when needed. Needs a small table in the downstairs bedroom my wife's make up kept falling off the chair and some 'user' information would have been good. There are a lack of footpaths for walking to the pub's so take a light as the cars can approach quite fast from blind bends. Otherwise, a comfortable cottage with almost all that you should need.

very good for a coastal holiday with easy access to shops, amenities and places of interest; secluded without being remote or isolated.A very tasteful conversion of farm buildings. Information about the facilities in the property(cooking, heating etc)would have been helpful.
