We stayed at Lowe Farmhouse in October 2015, we were a party of 14 staying for 1 week to celebrate my mum's 65th birthday. We had a fantastic time! The house ticked every box for us, it was clean, cosy & big enough for us all to enjoy. The teenagers loved the games room! Adults loved the kitchen, enough cooking appliances & equipment to feed a Small army!! We ventured out to the local pub only a 10 minute walk down the lane & were greeted like old friends... The hospitality & food was second to none! The lovely owner was on hand if we needed anything but we didn't see him until we were leaving as everything was perfect!! Lowe farmhouse is a cosy country retreat that you feel at home in, it has everything you need for a special get away in a beautiful part of the country.

Great house for the size of the party. Downfall for our visit was the lack of hot water for showers however I understand this is being resolved. Great size rooms. Games room equipment could do with a bit of a fix up . Host was very friendly and helpful. Pub down the road is great.

We had a fantastic weekend at the Lowe Farmhouse, the place is stunning, with lovely views, great rooms, fabulous kitchen and sitting area, as well as outside sitting space. The "games" room is a bonus as well. It was perfect.

As a group of 13 adult cyclists this property fully met our needs . With lots of space it was comfortable and functional and in a super location. The owner was very helpful, friendly and relaxed. The games room was an added bonus, enjoyed by us all on our last night. The landlady at the local pub (The Black Swan) was an absolute diamond and catered amazingly for hungry cyclists every night with warmth and charm. We were made to feel very welcome by everyone. I would highly recommend this property for large groups as it was excellent value for money.

Ideal spacious and comfortable accommodation for our large family reunion over a long weekend. We did not take part in the outdoor leisure facilities on site but enjoyed a game of snooker in the play room. The owner was very welcoming and helpful.

The Lowe Farmhouse was perfect for a weekend away with friends, all the rooms were spacious with plenty of bathroom facilities for everyone. The kitchen is modern and provides a very sociable space. We did clay pigeon shooting on-site, provided by the owners of the house, this was great fun. Touches like the slippers and dressing gowns were much appreciated. We would definitely return.

The cottage was not overly clean. There were cobwebs everywhere, we had to wash all cutlery and crockery before use and there were toenails found on bedroom carpets! Also the owners dog used to wonder round which was not a problem but it used to poo outside our cottage and the mess was not cleaned up and so our young children were unable to play outside and this was a big issue for me. The cottage also advertises wifi but the connection is non existent! The location however was beautiful and with a few small changes this cottage could be lovely.
