A lovely quiet location. By the end of our stay, we were experts at navigating the very narrow road (more of a track) down to the cottage. Make sure you pick your essentials up, as you cannot just nip to the corner shop. We were greated by the owner Pat who was very friendly and informative of local eateries, I would recommend Upottery and Weston. Our dog loved the grass area outside the cottage, chasing her ball. The cottage had all the facilities you require e.g. cooker, microwave, washing machine. We did have an issue with the electrics tripping, which was sorted, but did make me realise how quickly the cottage became cold. It would be perfect if there was a real wood burner, for those cooler evenings. To improve the cottage I would suggest new bunk beds as the existing ones are very uncomfortable, plus this room has a smell of damp, which may be due to wood piled against the exterior wall.

A lovely cottage set in a very quiet and tranquil location. Our hosts were excellent, making sure we were settled and happy, and being next door, were always on hand should we need anything. Our hosts left a very thoughtful, and much appreciated, welcoming pack, including milk, eggs, biscuits and wine! Altogether a very pleasant few days spent in the heart of the Devonshire countryside.
