Built from slate with a brown hue, mined locally and unique to Threlkeld, this impressive detached house enjoys the sun all day long and has phenomenal views from every room. There are two cracking pubs in the village, one with a restaurant and one serving bar meals. Keswick is 3 miles and access to the M6 is only 15 minutes drive. For those travelling on public transport there are regular buses from Penrith train station which drop you right outside the property, and continue in to Keswick.     Excellent house for a family holiday. Brilliantly equipped with high quality equipment. Slight improvements would be to update the speakers for the new apple connection and include bathroom toiletries in the bathrooms. The house doesn't have any grass area in the garden so there is limited areas for children to play.
