We had a great time at Moss Cottage. The surroundings were beautiful and there were lots of wildlife to watch for out of the fantastic windows. The cottage was well equipped and big enough for four adults and four children. We had enough to do in the surrounding areas for a week but would probably have struggled to find days out suitable for small children if we had stayed any longer.

Beautiful views. A few things that could be improved at the cottage. The shower was tiny but worked really well. The hob wasn't very good at all and took ages to cook anything and one of the rings didn't work at all.

Moss cottage is a nice place to stay. However the furniture in the lounge is very very uncomfortable badly needs to be replaced. There were not enough utensils and a lot of the dinner plates were badly chipped. The downstairs shower and toilet is very small and the bath mat needs replacing. The beds were very comfortable although again the bedrooms were not very large and upstairs was very hot as the rooms have tiny Windows. The upstairs bathroom is larger but the shower was a nightmare. The area is very safe and well fenced off as we had a two year old with us, he was able to play safely with someone watching him. It is very peaceful there. The proprietor left a welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs and t.bags. We ordered an on line shop and this worked well. Bedding very clean and towels very fluffy. Garden bench could do with a coat of varnish and some sun loungers would be good. I would stay here again but only if the lounge furniture were replaced and new plates etc. Not very nice eating off of badly chipped dinner plates. Also shower to be replaced upstairs and more fans for bedrooms. When you are paying nearly quite a sum of money for a week it would be nice if everything was in order.

Wonderful home, the rooms were a good size and the hole cottage was very spacious and comfortable. The owner was very accommodating friendly. The only way it would be better is with a hottub!

Lovely cottage, great views from the living room and nearby walks. Lots of space - all worked well for a large family. Nice and warm even though the weather was cold. Thank you
