Very comfortable cottage, good headroom inside, despite its age, plenty of equipment, modern kitchen, effective central heating plus good log burner, large bedrooms. Great location in an attractive rural town, at the heart of a little-known border region on Offa's Dyke, with good road and rail links to most of Powys, Shropshire & Herefordshire. Worth visiting nearby towns like Presteigne, Kington, Ludlow, Bishops Castle, Montgomery, Leominster, plus bigger places like Shrewsbury and Hereford. Cottage very well maintained, generous starter pack, good fish & chips 20 paces away, Lots of pubs, cafes (with wifi), restaurants, plus the wonderful Harry Tuffins supermarket! There's even a private parking place outside front of cottage, for one smallish car.

Really enjoyed our short stay at Molly's cottage. Very quirky! Cold evenings so appreciated the wood burner- made the cottage really cosy. Mrs Steadman the caretaker very helpful. Also appreciated the welcome pack- wine, scones. milk etc.

Knighton is really central to many attractions and great countryside. The cottage is warm and well equipped and being in the middle of the town is very convenient.
