I always enjoy returning to my home town when I can and on this occaision my stay was made more special because of Molly's Cottage. As a family we are thankful to the owners for letting guest savour the uniqueness of staying in an old wood beamed cottage which they have renovated and restored to excellent standards. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in the Knighton area for a couple of weeks and exploring the joys of the Mid-Wales and the Marches areas of the Uk.

We really enjoyed our week in 'Mollys Cottage. It was everything we wanted, central position in Knighton, walks north and south along Offas Dyke from the door and other walks either side of town. The towns facilities were good, many pubs and tea rooms and an excellent fish and chip shop very close to the cottage. The Offas Dyke Centre, just a few minutes away was very informative.

Very comfortable cottage, good headroom inside, despite its age, plenty of equipment, modern kitchen, effective central heating plus good log burner, large bedrooms. Great location in an attractive rural town, at the heart of a little-known border region on Offa's Dyke, with good road and rail links to most of Powys, Shropshire & Herefordshire. Worth visiting nearby towns like Presteigne, Kington, Ludlow, Bishops Castle, Montgomery, Leominster, plus bigger places like Shrewsbury and Hereford. Cottage very well maintained, generous starter pack, good fish & chips 20 paces away, Lots of pubs, cafes (with wifi), restaurants, plus the wonderful Harry Tuffins supermarket! There's even a private parking place outside front of cottage, for one smallish car.
