Knighton is really central to many attractions and great countryside. The cottage is warm and well equipped and being in the middle of the town is very convenient.

The caretakers were very helpful and did everything they could to assist us. The high step from the living room into the kitchen needs great caution and perhaps needs to be filled. The shower head needs to be firmly secured. Great care is need when using the kettle because due to the handle position it is very easy to get scaling hot steam up on your hand. It should be admitted in the summary that the local town is built on very steep roads/pavements. Whilst booking is the final responsibility of the customer, the approx. 60 degree stairs should be made very clear to potential customers. All equipment worked well. We found & handed in a lady's necklace.

Molly's Cottage is charming and it was a privilege to stay in a building as old and full of history. It was really well furnished and totally in-keeping with the age of the building. There were some general maintenance issues (apart from what is listed below re safety) e.g. part of the shower held together with gaffa tape, the mixer tap in the kitchen being lose and moving when used, the toilet seat lid coming off of the hinge leaving the sharp screws exposed etc. This is not what we would expect from a 4-star cottage. This did not detract from a great holiday.

Great cottage and location. The lack of a private garden / sitting area the only drawback.

I must echo all the previous rave reviews. A beamed cottage with floors that rise up and down all over the place -- utterly charming, and furnished and beautifully decorated with love and care. We are an elderly couple (one of us with Alzheimer's), but we were fine, and had lovely walks in gorgeous scenery (an entire day of rain is no hardship in a house like that, which even has games for children tucked into cupboards), and everyone, from the very kind caretaker and friendly owner to all the townspeople, was cheerful and helpful. How great to be able to eat out and for once have a drink because all those excellent pubs are only a stroll away! (The Red Lion is more of a bijou restaurant than a pub -- terrific value.) We are longing to return to Molly's cottage if we possibly can.

Lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need including a wood burner, dish washer etc. The wine and scones were a lovely touch. Many thanks, would be happy to recommend to family and friends.

Fantastic quaint, warm cozy cottage. Great location as village is just round the corner. The Caretaker is a sweetie, leaving us lots of lovely goodies and beautiful flowers. The fire is awesome and it's excellent having unlimited logs. Knighton folk are very friendly and can't wait to go back to molly's cottage.
