The highlight was probably the cottage location near Pendeen, a well kept secret, away from usual tourist destinations. Cottage perfect for two, nice and cosy. We made use of the kitchens fully openable sliding doors onto patio with partial sea view. Great walks in all directions and more going on in Pendeen than first impressions.

extremely comfortable and well equipped cottage in great location - only minutes from the coastpath. personally even better for 'smoking allowed' status.

The mini barn was a beautiful little place to stay, comfortable and fully equipped for us, I would recommend this place for a quiet get away with gorgeous views and driving distance to many popular places to visit

Although we were aware the stairs were tread stairs and steep that is the only thing that would put us off returning but that is certainly no fault of the cottage.

I would have given 10 across the board - but for us the bed was too soft and the bedding a bit tired. Otherwise Mini Barn had everything. The kitchen was well equipped - we cooked every evening. Location perfect for us - just off the coast path, and we love the 'real' part of Cornwall. Books and DVDs should you need them were on the shelf and the courtyard outside was just perfect! Welcome flowers on the table and cornish cream tea in the fridge was a lovely touch. Good radio etc in the kitchen and good wifi too. A very cosy, lovely place to escape to - thank you so much!

Nice cottage in a lovely location for walking the coastal path . Good facilities .3 pubs and a fish and chip shop within a miles walk. Parking can be an issue because the cottage doesn't have its own parking. To get to the cottage you walk down a driveway which belongs to neighbours ,this was quite untidy along with 4 old cars in the garden . Overall very nice week ,excellent location for walking with our dogs .

Excellent base for exploring the area close to Geevor Mine reference Poldark ! beautiful coastline too. Mini Barn was a home from home with everything you need. even WiFi ! Would love to stay again when funds allow. Staircase to bedroom is quite steep but manageable . D

The Mini Barn gives a great experience of staying in classic Cornish cottage in a fabulous location. It is situated just a short walk to the coastal path giving advantage to fantastic views. The access drive to the cottage itself is somewhat scruffy with car parts and other paraphernalia stacked up. This was off-putting especially on first arrival. I think the immediate neighbour must be a 'Mr Fixit'. Internally, the cottage felt like it could have done with a deep clean. Some of the utensils on the kitchen shelf felt greasy and dusty. A duster and a can of polish were left out giving the impression that the place had just had a bit of a cat-lick. As previous reviews have stated, the sofa was most uncomfortable and the bed was not as supportive as it should be. Also, the stairs do require a degree of care to manage. However, these gripes aside we had a relaxing week in a most beautiful spot.
