Great little quiet cottage - everything you need- brilliant local pub and shop & only 25mins cross country walk to Portherus beach. Parking bit of a hassle sometimes but you can always find space 100 metres up the road.

This is a beautiful little place for couples and a great base to travel from. Lovely sea view and great local pub 5 mins walk. Lots of lovely walks if you take your dog and a lovely little Cove not far from Mini Barn. I would definitely go again. The only small problem is parking there wasn't always a space near the barn so had to park on the road.

Positives: Overall an excellent property. Extremely clean. Well equipped, especially the kitchen. Very well decorated. Comfortable bed. Powerful shower. Great patio doors opening up the inside space. From places, sea views. Modern and comfortable garden furniture. Dog friendly. Negatives: Not a lot of storage. A lot of weeds in garden \patio area. No secure parking. If you can not Park in one of spaces in the row of parked cars at the end of the cul-de-sac do not park anywhere else. Instead park in the public car park in the village, Pendeen, and walk to the Mini Barn. When we couldn't park in the row, and we parked, with others, at the turning circle we received one threatening note and the next day our car was "keyed" along all panels! The police came and we learnt that other cars had been damaged too!

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. I am sorry to hear about the incident especially as this was outside of my control and therefore could not have done anything about it. I haven't been made aware of any other incidents of car damage. I do hope this didn't spoil your holiday.

Home from home, the only problem was it wasn't long enough.

The highlight was probably the cottage location near Pendeen, a well kept secret, away from usual tourist destinations. Cottage perfect for two, nice and cosy. We made use of the kitchens fully openable sliding doors onto patio with partial sea view. Great walks in all directions and more going on in Pendeen than first impressions.

The mini barn was a beautiful little place to stay, comfortable and fully equipped for us, I would recommend this place for a quiet get away with gorgeous views and driving distance to many popular places to visit

Although we were aware the stairs were tread stairs and steep that is the only thing that would put us off returning but that is certainly no fault of the cottage.

I would have given 10 across the board - but for us the bed was too soft and the bedding a bit tired. Otherwise Mini Barn had everything. The kitchen was well equipped - we cooked every evening. Location perfect for us - just off the coast path, and we love the 'real' part of Cornwall. Books and DVDs should you need them were on the shelf and the courtyard outside was just perfect! Welcome flowers on the table and cornish cream tea in the fridge was a lovely touch. Good radio etc in the kitchen and good wifi too. A very cosy, lovely place to escape to - thank you so much!

Nice cottage in a lovely location for walking the coastal path . Good facilities .3 pubs and a fish and chip shop within a miles walk. Parking can be an issue because the cottage doesn't have its own parking. To get to the cottage you walk down a driveway which belongs to neighbours ,this was quite untidy along with 4 old cars in the garden . Overall very nice week ,excellent location for walking with our dogs .
