A wonderful home from home. A very comfortable house. The situation is fantastic with one of the best views ever. Second time we have stayed, and we will be back

Couldn't have a better location in Cemaes, overlooking the beach and a stones throw from the pub and high street. Extremely helpful owner Colin and caretaker Carole. Very clean, tidy and well equipped. Would certainly go back there again.

Spent a week at Min-Y-Wygyr from 9th June. The location is perfect with fabulous views of the bay. The cottage is very clean and comfortable, it has everything you need. We had a lovely stay and will book this cottage again.

Min-y-Wygyr is an excellent property, clean, very comfortable and very well appointed. Efficient showers, roomy bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was beautifully clean and fresh. The location is superb and the views are breath taking. Our family, with ages ranging from 10 to 68, enjoyed every minute of our stay. Cemaes is a lovely village with just enough facilities, an excellent general store, several interesting shops, cafes, pubs, a heritage centre and a very good chippy. The beaches are perfect and the harbour is very good for crabbing. We would love to return to Min-y-Wygyr very soon.

Great place to stay, wonderfully located with views over the bay. Everybody enjoyed the break. Would recommend it to others. Heating was a little hit and miss. But only a minor grumble. Would book again.

Excellent holiday with a very friendly village atmosphere and small shops. The promenade and the nearby many small bays were great to visit.

A perfect location, stunning scenery and a lovely quiet cottage. The village has everything you need with a local butcher and baker and small grocery shop. Coffee and tea shops and local pubs who serve food. The cottage was well equipped with access to the garden for sitting out barbecuing etc. The bedrooms were adequate but a little small to move around in, the lounge/dining/kitchen are were great.....only thing missing was a dishwasher. I would definately book again for a return stay.

Ideal location. Views overlooking pretty harbour and beach (with toilets and good kiosk). 5 minutes slow (small children) walk to pleasant beach - nice sand / with a few rocks and pools. Sheltered bay. Nicely decorated and well kept. Caretaker responsive and helpful. Living / dining / kitchen one room. Ideal for everyone to join in. Bedrooms small but adequate. Parking will fit 3 cars at a squash - there are plenty of free alternatives in the village. Lovely balcony and outside space for sitting / BBQ - no grass. Downsides - beds not that comfortable. Dining table has 6 chairs and is a squash for 9 when bringing in 3 outside chairs to supplement. Simple improvements - outside tap to rinse off feet when returning from beach.
