We stayed in the cottage in early April 2017. We travelled with 4 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs. the Cottage was the cleanest place ive ever stayed. which is unbelievable considering the style and age of the build. it is a true testament to the owners. The cottage featured everything you would need for a short break. the local beach was lovely for a walk but certainly not for swimming or sunbathing (it is north wales after all). You can find all kinds of walking right from the doorstep and the bustling holiday town of Barmouth is a 10 minute drive away (which has a proper beach) the nearest other town of Twynyn is excellent for a supermarket and fish and chips. The town of LLyngwril where the property is , is a very sleepy location, with a small convenience store and a pub. The house its self is well equipped with local information, including maps, leaflets and menus for food. there is very little phone signal and no wifi, but to be honest, that's perfect for getting away. We would definitely stay again, the owners were extremely proficient at answering to the booking and everything else was run smoothly, including the addition of one dog.

Lovely cottage, peaceful location. One slight negative - one of the matresses in the cabin bed wasn't too comfortable and may need replacing (springs could be felt). We would definitely go back.

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage with a lovely log burning stove. Prospective visitors should be aware contrary to what is stated on the website that there is no parking permitted on the road outside between April and September. However there are two free car parks within easy walking distance.

Very good location for exploring the area. Lack of parking meant a short walk but there is no space for a car in those narrow roads. Slight problem with back and front door locks (they are a bit old) but property had everything we needed. Had a very enjoyable week. Handy having the train request stop in the village too.
