Lovely cottage, nice people, beautiful island, only minus was no shower, there was a hand held shower in bath, for hair washing but no screen or curtain for full shower. I'm more than able to step into bath but unable to raise myself out of bath due to bad arthritic wrists so that was a bit of a let down!

Lovely break in a peaceful spot. Shame it has no mobile signal. Underfloor heating takes a while to warm the place up.

The cottage is very well appointed, comfortable, warm and very homely. It is very well looked after by friendly owners living alongside. Being in the country access to amenities and facilities really has to be by car to Rothesay, 10 minutes drive away ort to places and beaches for walking. We didn't experience it but during summer months there is an open top tourist bus service that is definitely a plus.

Our short break was very good, with a very nice couple . We did have to ask for the wifi password, and there are a couple of pot holes in the short drive off the road to the cottage. The sign at the road end was difficult to see; black wrought iron against dark bushes on a dark day, but overall exceptionally nice spot. Under floor heating, quite warm.
