Great lodge. Great location. A little tricky to find it on the final 1000yds. A sign at top of Lane would be great. We will definitely return

For a quiet holiday with a small lake and a hint of kingfishers , you have come to the right place. Lodge is well fitted but in need of a few extra mugs on site, no not us but drinking ones! Good heating and bathing facilities. Seriously, a place to go to relax but within easy driving distance of Goathland(Heartbeat fans),Whitby (Scampi and coast fans), and of course that Jorvic kingdom of York. They even like well behaved dogs in the pubs and some restaurants. A great time had by all, even did a little Ukulele practice by the pond on our lakeside platform area!

The cottage is nicely placed for visiting lovely parts of Yorkshire. The Wi Fi was very iffey, only worked for a couple of days. We found the steps to the property not very easy.

Had 2 wonderful weeks at Mill Pond. Situated on the edge of a lovely village and near to the busy market town of Pocklington .... shops to suit every need. Local farm shops close at hand too.

Booked property as advertised accommodation on one level. However, there was no mention that the four steps to enter lodge are very steep, which proved a daily struggle for my elderly mother. Furnishings need replacing and lots of black dog hair from previous client. Really needs a good revamp in and out.

Mill Pond Lodge is ideal because you are out in the quiet countryside but only a short drive from the wonders of Yorkshire. The lodge is comfortable, spacious, light and always clean so it's a pleasure staying there.BRILLIANT
