Had an amazing 7 day stay at Duck Egg Cottage. Well equipped for a family of 4. Hot tub was great for relaxing in garden and surroundings were lovely. Plenty to do round and about and lots of nice pubs and resturants to eat out.

Hosts lorraine & kevin extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Idealic location for peace & quiet. Many a hot tub nite spent under the stars. Accomodation unexpectantly roomy. Perfect break. Shops quite a distance away, but thats to be expected in such a rural location.

The cottage was a delight and the owners very welcoming. I could not find a fault with the property and it's facilities. Everything was clean and fresh. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus. I would happily recommend this cottage to anyone.

We had a lovely peaceful stay and definitely the place to recharge our batteries, when we arrived we were greeted by both Lorraine and Kevin, who are lovely, they showed us around the cottage and showed us what we needed to know, we enjoyed the welcome gift of flapjack, tea, coffee and milk. The cottage is set back from the road which makes it idea if you have dogs and/or children, there plenty of areas for dogs to run safely, our dogs loved looking through the fence over the field. The cottage is well equipped and clean, in the evening we loved relaxing in the hot tub which is easy to operate. The near by village of Sparkford has most of the local amenities that you need. We will definitely use the cottage again and recommend it to friends and family.

Bit disappointed as when we booked apparently it still had the description from the old owner, so showed WIFI (no Wifi now) on the property of an equestion centre, apparently this was old owner. The Wifi was a particular problem as I run my own business and need constant access to check emails etc. Since mentioning the equestion centre I note the description has changed. Apart from that the cottage is lovely clean and quiet

This is a place to go if you want to recharge your batteries and enjoy the peace and quiet. It's in a lovely peaceful area situated 10 minutes drive from a spa shop and pub. It is nicley situated to visit Glastonbury and Wells and other attractions. The owner's are very helpful and their if needed. We would definitely be telling your friends and family about this wonderful place.
