Wonderful location with beautiful grounds, if the weather had been finer it would have been lovely to sit outside. The apartment was well appointed, and very clean. Minutes from Bowness town centre and the lake cruises, so it was good to be a little way away from the noise and holiday traffic. It is up a steep hill and as it rained almost constantly while we were there, we were very pleased we had a car to get home and to explore locally. There were two TVs, a box of DVDs, books and a basket of helpful local information and leaflets. We had only a couple of small gripes - plentiful towels but they were a bit thin and rough so new supplies for next season might be an idea. One night the heating made such tremendous banging and shuddering that the visitors below came to see what was happening. But we turned it off and it ceased immediately, I think it was probably just an air lock. The drain in the ensuite shower needed clearing as it backed up on the first morning, however there were no further problems. All in all a very comfortable, warm and spacious apartment and we'd happily go back.

We enjoyed our stay in this clean, large, comfortable flat. Just a pity that there's not much within easy walking distance.

We really enjoyed this spacious, luxury apartment and would be very happy to stay here again. The kitchen is really well equipped and there are lots of extras like the PlayStation, books, puzzles, DVDs... As we were here in February the roads were fairly quiet for getting out and about - and the location is central for travelling around. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Fabulous, luxurious apartment in lovely location.Visited with family. Very large apartment with extra space to sit & read or watch tv, or have 'quiet time'. Loved the the grounds & building. 10 minute walk to the marina. 2 bedrooms, both ensuite. Don't think I've ever stayed in anywhere as well equipped. Totally enjoyed our 10 night break over Christmas & new year. But please note it is on top floor & there's a lot of stairs!!

Enjoyed our stay, stairs a little difficult for elderly parents but managed to climb as they were not too steep. The whole apartment was well stocked, modern, everything you could think of was there. There were just a few issues, the valance sheet on the bed in the twin room was ripped, the toilet roll holder in the bathroom was loose and the roll would not stay on and the blind in the bathroom to the double bedroom was broken. Reported to the office on departure. Obviously we rented towards the end of season and some paint work etc and shower bases were looking a little tired.
