We booked this cottage so that we could easily visit Hay on wye. Which was possible and only took about 20 minutes to get to. Unfortunately we did have an incident with the owners dogs, ending with one our very old dogs being bitten. We then left a day earlier because it left us feeling unsettled.

Great place to stay, the road to the house was a bit bumpy but typical of farm roads. Great for a quiet weekend break

A very comfortable and lovely cottage with beautiful furniture and outside space perfect for our dog. The kitchen is well equipped and the only real negative is not having control over the heating for the cottage. The owners were quite happy to put it on for us though. The area is stunning but townies need to remember that pubs and restaurants do not serve food all day and booking is quite often required particularly at the weekend. Lots of information available in the cottage. Great hosts and fab long weekend. Will be booking again.
