We had a wonderful week at Meadow View. The owner who lives next door was extremly welcoming. A real peaceful week with lots do and see in the surrounding area. We all look forward to return Meadow View. Highly recommend.

Our second visit to Meadow view, this time sadly without Lucy, the dog. Bright, peaceful, secluded location with Rosetta in the meadow. We love the tranquillity of the setting, yet within easy reach of interesting places. Spotlessly clean, well appointed, comfortable. We'd happily go back again.

My sister and I were very pleased with the cottage; it was well-equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The owners are helpful and friendly. The garden borders were very pretty and the views from the cottage across fields were interesting.

This is the second time we have stayed at meadow view because we enjoyed the first visit so much. On our first night a deer came within a few feet of the cottage there are wild rabbits everywhere so nice to see nature up close also a great base for walking with or without a dog coastal or in land Caroline who owns the property is really helpful and although they live close to the cottage they never bother you and we are already looking to come back again next year

We enjoyed it very much the only reason for not going back is because there are too many other places to visit and not enough time too do it all

We had a lovely holiday at Meadow View, it really was a perfect stay. The cottage was spotless and everything was really thought through and the accommodation was very comfortable. We loved the thoughtful touches of all the literature of the surrounding areas and suggested walks and ideas for exploring. We enjoyed views from the cottage and we especially loved the privacy of the enclosed garden, which was a godsend for our us and our dog. It was really handy to have all the amenities in fairly close proximity, with a nice selection of shops. Although bit far in distance for us to regularly stay at (mores the shame!), we would recommend staying at Meadow View to anybody, we certainly had a really fantastic time there!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your kind comments for your 3 night stay. From your comment in the visitors book we are glad you enjoyed the local pub, takeaways and shops. Leiston has very good local amenities, within approximately one mile or less of Meadow View is a large supermarket, cinema, sports centre with swimming pool, Doctors surgery, museum, pubs, takeaways, numerous shops and the beach at Sizewell. All details are in the cottage information book. The location of the cottage is clearly shown on this website, over looking the horse meadow, standing 100 meters from the B1122 up a private shared driveway.
