This was our second stay at this house, as usual it was amazingly clean, the views are stunning. The only little gripes I have this time are regarding the dvd player not working, a day when there was bad weather we rented a dvd for the kids and the dvd player would not read the disc & The washing machine does not work, it wasn't draining the water from the clothes, wasn't rinsing and a cold wash ended up being a really hot wash... I ended up bringing home dirty clothes. These are small complaints however and I'm sure they would be easily rectified, other than that it is a stunning home and a very comfortable place to stay. It is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. I would recommend this home to anyone for an enjoyable stay in beautiful west cork.

A very nice home in a beautiful location.we had a great stay and loads of info provided by owners. The family were very friendly and handed over with no problems. A few little niggles were that more towels were wanted and things like hooks for clothes in bathrooms.Showers were electric and not power.Washing machine was a bit erratic with spin not working at times, but these really are minor things that can easily be improved. A really spotless home with loads of kit,and a nice family who owned the house. One other matter please, please update to Wi-Fi in this price bracket it is a must. Would recommend to others and we would stay again if niggles were attended to. Many thanks for a great stay.

This was our first time to Ireland, and we loved it , the cottage was beautiful everything you needed was in the cottage , beautiful views over the bay lovely fire to use of an evening, the nearest town (skibbereen ) is 10 min drive lots of shops everything you need , lovely beaches not far away and a lovely little pebble bay 5 min walk from cottage and shop , Ireland is very pretty and the Irish were very friendly and welcoming . Micheal the owner of the cottage was close by if needed anything Even had electric blankets on beds . There isn't much to do actually round by the cottage but we were out most of the time sightseeing so didn't really matter to us and we were happy to drive into the town of an evening to eat and drink , the Irish know how to party we found a great pub called Annie may's home cooked food and great Irish entertainment , would highly recommend cottage we will certainly be returning , only little criticism is a little cold in bedrooms as no central heating but was electric radiators but didn't like leaving them on .
