I had a fantastic holiday here celebrating my 40th Birthday with friends and family. The location is beautiful we enjoyed the wonderful views from the cottage. The property is so cosy and comfortable and immediately felt like home. It's very well equipped and we made good use of the Aga in the kitchen. It's a great property for a big party as the lay out enables people to spread out and have a bit of their own space when needed. Annie, the owner, was very friendly and helpful and happily replenished our log supply throughout the week - we loved the fires!

What a fabulous find. Off the beaten track location in stunning village of Maulds Meaburn. The Farmhouse oozes charm. We were 3 families with small children and the house accommodated us perfectly. Plenty of room to spread out, bathrooms galore, quiet in bedrooms due to old thick walls and ceilings, quality antique furniture ( none of the horrible MDF here) and lovely and warm. The best equipped kitchen I have seen in a holiday let and amazing library and stock of cooking books. Lots to do in local area but so cozy in house made it difficult to get our party out and about.

An amazing Christmas with friends with all the trimmings, beautifully decorated and loads of room for the teenagers, twenties, old folk and the dog! Warm and comfortable, amazing walks on the doorstep and a laughter filled walk in the pitch black to the pub. So relaxing a week just wasn't long enough. Thank you

Booked weekend early December for a family Christmas and it was truly magical. The house was decorated in traditional style with real tree and Holly. The kitchen had every utensil, pot & pan possible with which to cook the perfect dinner. Everyone agreed it was the perfect Christmas. Our grandchildren absolutely loved it. The owner was more than helpful. We would strongly recommend.
