The cottage was in a brilliant location and everything we needed was available. It had a nice conservatory and a well equipped kitchen. Our only reservation was the lack of a convenient parking space and crossing the road to the car was hazardous particularly for my partially sighted wife. Also there was prompt sympathetic attention to a problem we had with the television. I should mention the steep unlit steps to the road again a hazard for my wife.

Lovely cottage in Bakewell - suprisingly roomy. Cosy sitting room, large entrance hall and conservatory. We enjoyed the log burner and walking and running from the front door. The only thing we found a little annoying was that the kitchen was quite poorly equipped, no salad bowl or measuring jug, scissors, casserole dish with lid. We only wanted to heat up and m and s dinner and struggled with that so you would really struggle to cool a proper meal.

Overall it was a great cottage to stay. Only problem was the parking initially. Absolutely nowhere on arrival, due to festival in town, and every road space taken!! We did park in the road that evening, and never used the car again, so maintained our position! However might put us off risking it again! That would be the only reason not 100% sure we will be staying there again.

Perfect location for our visit to the Eroica Brittania. Slight problem with the parking but otherwise the cottage was lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent cottage. Ideal location a little outside the centre of the town. Cosy, although we did not manage to get the stove working properly (our fault!). No parking on site, but easy parking across the road. A very enjoyable stay.

Lovely cottage, the only problem was that cooking without an extractor fan meant that steam was setting off the smoke detector on the stairwell.

Nice cottage, close to bakewell, the parking situation is not great, you have to park across the road (if there is space) its does have a beautiful log fire, and garden, and everything you need for a cottage holiday, good selection of DVD and a nice touch when you arrive is logs in the basket and the fire being set up ready for a beautiful relaxing break.
