This is an attractive stone cottage located within walking distance of Bakewell, which is an attractive town. We liked the look and feel of the cottage and thought it reasonable value. It's quite roomy and has a natural garden with garden furniture. It's cosy and whilst it is located on a busy-ish road with some parking restrictions, we never had a problem parking up. It is lacking in a few areas. It could do with some re-decorating; it's looking a bit tired in that respect. We thought the kitchen equipment was not sufficient if the cottage was fully occupied - eg cutlery and wine glass shortages. The kitchen and bathroom were just a bit tired with some updating and maintenance required. It didn't have enough home comforts and quality of fitments to consider returning

A lovely cottage to stay in, well equipped, quite big considering it is a cottage, warm, close to Bakewell centre, very picturesque, lovely sun room and little garden. Would be nice for BBQ's in the summer. The access to the property was via some steep uneven steps which would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Single beds were not long enough. And that room is very cold but it's very pretty.

The cottage was in a brilliant location and everything we needed was available. It had a nice conservatory and a well equipped kitchen. Our only reservation was the lack of a convenient parking space and crossing the road to the car was hazardous particularly for my partially sighted wife. Also there was prompt sympathetic attention to a problem we had with the television. I should mention the steep unlit steps to the road again a hazard for my wife.

Lovely cottage in Bakewell - suprisingly roomy. Cosy sitting room, large entrance hall and conservatory. We enjoyed the log burner and walking and running from the front door. The only thing we found a little annoying was that the kitchen was quite poorly equipped, no salad bowl or measuring jug, scissors, casserole dish with lid. We only wanted to heat up and m and s dinner and struggled with that so you would really struggle to cool a proper meal.
