Fantastic place to stay! Only down fall is the location as there is no path to walk along on the side of the busy road. You need to drive or get taxis to the near by town of Glossop of Hayfield. Other than that we will return!

We have been to marl 4 times we love it there and hope to do the same next year, the proprietors always make us very welcome. Would be even better if there was a track for us to walk to the pub the safely, The road is to dangerous to walk along .

A beautiful holiday cottage with stunning interior and a lovely cosy warm feel. Modern but traditional and lovely owners that were very accommodating. The layout was perfect for our two dogs and also for our 2 year old little girl. Completely child safe and also very comfortable, the courtyard was ideal for letting dogs out and the farm was also a big hit with our little one as they had goats and kittens about too. The road noise was the only real thing we could comment on that wasn't great but you do get used to it, also the Wifi was not working when we were there due to a line fault, obviously not an easy fix in the Peaks. Overall I would recommend this lovely cottage, and would definitely go back!

A beautifully decorated cottage. It is next to a very busy road though so a little noisy if you're not used to traffic whizzing past. The village of Hayfield is lovely but due to no footpaths from the cottage you have to take the car. We would however stay here again as the walks & views are amazing.

We had a brilliant holiday and stay. The family were very friendly and our boys loved the dogs and animals. The cottage was beautiful and the close road didn't bother us at all. Lovely walks and cycles.

The property was located adjacent to a main road so not ideal as traffic noise quite noticable
