Overall really enjoyed our holiday at Marineside, was easy to get to and find. The places we stayed was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Owner was friendly and helpful and we would stay here again to keep exploring the area.

We had a great time and the property is interesting and well equipped! It has a few minor maintenance issues including some of the locks around the house being very difficult to use (I guess because of the sea air) and a tap in the upstairs bathroom that is very difficult to turn off! We had a lovely time and would very much recommend it as a holiday home. We were a little disappointed that the nearest local shop had closed (and the Fish & Chip Shop seemed to be closed for 3 weeks) since we last stayed there, but found another not too far away. Going in February half-term we found the house quite cold when we arrived, but we did manage to get it sufficiently warm despite very cold weather.

upon our arrival we discovered only one bed had been made up ,we had requested two so we had to hunt in cupboards to find bed linen,we then discovered that the towels we had paid extra for had not been left for us.i rang the owner who told us where they were kept but none were found,so we made a 15 mile round trip to tesco to obtain some.also the toaster did not work.the view of the sea was amazing but the windows were so dirty that it defeated the object.

We had an enjoyable holiday despite a few minor maintenance issues some of which we sorted out ourselves. It was great for our grandchildren, especially the close proximity to the beach and the safe environment. Also an excellent view across the Solent of the Isle of Wight. When we arrived at the gates to the complex, we did wonder what we had let ourselves in for; the apartments facing were far from attractive. Fortunately, we did not stay in these. Our accommodation was very well equipped and we particularly liked being able to sit outside on either side of the house to catch the sun. There were plenty of places to eat out, but our particular favourite, just along the beach, was "Billy's on the Beach".
