Perfect for couples and families wanting to enjoy Cornwall, and within 2 miles of the beaches of the south Cornwall coast.

This stylish, semi-detached bungalow, set in a quiet cul-de-sac, provides the ideal accommodation to enjoy the whole of this beautiful county. The beaches of south Cornwall, Charlestown with its historic connections, tall ships, shipwreck museum and quaint streets, a favourite spot for TV and film sets, and the Eden Project are all accessible by foot.
A short drive will bring you to the quaint village of Mevagissey, the sea faring town of Fowey, a mecca for sailing and foodie heaven, and the Roseland Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that stretches into the ocean and is home to small smugglers coves and ancient villages. All provide boat trips, sea fishing, diving, kayaking and a multitude of good restaurants and independent shops selling local produce and crafts. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, plus many more National Trust gardens and properties, are easily reached.
The beach at Polkerris, a stunning horseshoe of sand, has a beach front restaurant and local pub, as well as water sports hire. Golf, horse riding, off road cycle trails and bike hire are all available locally. The north Cornwall coast, with Padstow, Newquay and Watergate Bay, are within a 20-minute drive and provide a different view of this dramatic county. Truro with its Gothic cathedral, cinema, theatre, shopping and museum is well worth a day out and is within a 30-minute drive. Beach 1½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

We had a very warm welcome from the owner and loved the hamper of Cornish goodies. The cottage was spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated and well equippped. It is in a great location, with excellent road links to the rest of the Cornwall and a regular train service from the nearby station. The only downside is there isn't really anywhere nice to eat within close walking distance.

Wish we were still there !!!!! On arrival , we were met by the owner, who showed us all amenities of the bungalow, explained how everything worked, even made us a cup of long awaited tea. The bungalow was like home from home. (Just much less clutter) A welcome letter and lovely hamper of Cornish treats awaited us in the kitchen. Perfect hosts. The location was perfect for visiting all the places we wanted to go. We have already recommended Maravel to family & friends. We also look forward to returning to Cornwall.
