We have been here before. We love the views from the windows and being able to reach many places of interest and walks. It is a warm, comfortable cottage and has all the equipment we could want. Our landlady was very welcoming and very helpful.

Relaxing week in well heated cottage with all the comforts you require. It was the week of the"Beast from the East" and we got snowed in for 3 days. No problem as we enjoyed the peace. We have a land rover so as soon as the weather broke we had no trouble getting down to Helmsley. Owner very pleasant and helpful and left us alone to enjoy the peace. Would visit again.

What a great cottage, I think this is the best we have stayed in, Very homely. We did not want to leave and we are looking forward to our second visit in 2018.

Wonderful, homely, cozy cottage isolated from the hustle and bustle of everyday life - exactly what I needed...! But still has Internet and Mobile phone coverage. Difficult to fault, sitting on the edge of the high moors, so some wonderful countryside to drive through and explore is never very far away. Watching the farmers tending to their sheep in the adjacent field was a joy to see. Certainly our dog was fascinated watching the working sheep dog .
