The owner lives in an apartment attached to the manor with her cats and dog, and the gardens extend to 15 acres, which include a private, salt-water swimming pool with terrace for sunbathing. This very spacious and charming family house provides very comfortable holiday accommodation. Manoir de Mombette is privately situated on a hill overlooking Cénac with views across to the bastide town of Domme. Close by is Sarlat with its fascinating twice-weekly market and historic buildings. The River Dordogne is within walking distance with its riverside beaches. The caves at Lascaux and Padirac as well as La-Roque-Gageac and the spectacular riverside châteaux of Baynac, Fenelon and Castlenaud are also close by. The area can be easily explored by car, bicycle, on foot or by canoe.
