Very comfortable. Very good location for amenities and places to visit. The recreation ground was easily accessible for walking our dog.

Malt Cottage was so unusual - but we loved all the interesting things that the owners had collected, within the cottage. Mr & Mrs Conway were extremely kind and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them. Biddenden is only small but has most amenities that you could need. The area round-about has lots of interesting castles, manor houses and villages and we would definitely recommend Malt Cottage as an excellent base for visiting this lovely part of Kent.

The owners are lovely and welcoming, the area has lots to see and is also near the coast. the village has a shop, pubs, restaurants. However, the cottage although a good size with a lovely private outside area and very comfy beds, needs modernising. It was full of dusty nik knacks and pink frills, even in the bathroom. The kitchen could do with basics provided such as salt and pepper. The photos on the website show you the owners style and if that's your taste then go for it. It isn't ours but was a very last minute booking.

Very unusual in its furnishings, but comfortable. When we visited it was very hot and we found it difficult to open the windows. The cottage would also benefit from garden furniture as the existing garden furniture was not very comfortable and no umbrella was provided until we asked for one the day before we left. Wendy and Micheal were very pleasant and helpful. The village of Biddenden was close at hand and had a variety of places to eat - all good. Tenterden (8 miles away)has all the amenities, shops and facilities required to make it a good centre.
