This beautifully renovated detached house has large airy rooms, a huge private garden and sunny terrace for summer evenings and is on the edge of a small town with all amenities close by. It is ideal for all year round holidays thanks to its insert fireplace. Visit, nearby, the historic town of Montreuil-sur-Mer with its ramparts and cobbled streets, or Le Touquet, unless you prefer the sandy beaches of the Côte d’Opale or Berck-Plage. Hesdin market is worth a visit, as well as St Valery with its steam train, and in the summer months browse local brocantes. The house is close to Le Touquet and Nampont golf courses, which makes it an ideal location for golf enthusiasts. Maybe, you can cycle through the quiet lanes of the 7 Valleys.

Approximate distance to Beauvais airport is 150 km.

    Although the cottage was a good size and the garden was perfect for families, with plenty of equipment for children, it was let down by the kitchen. The cupboards were very dirty and the whole kitchen needed updating. The utility room was also grubby. The bed in the master bedroom was stained and did not have a mattress protecter and the linen needed replacing. The second bathroom needed a shower screen. It was such a shame because it was a lovely house.

    Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your nice comments about the cottage and garden. The kitchen unit will definitely be repaired before the rental season starts. The mattress in the master bedroom has a zippered mattress protector cover. This is why there was no mattress protector. All other beds have mattress protectors. The owner will put a mattress protector over the master bedroom mattress for the upcoming rental season. We can assure you the house is cleaned between each and every guest and we are sorry it was not up to standard. We will continue to monitor it. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as we strive to improve with each and every stay.

    Really good holiday, beautiful location, lovely house and gorgeous garden. I would say the house could definitely do with some TLC, e.g. lights not working in 2nd bathroom, not a bulb as you could tap and get a light on, it's the wiring I think (I have electrical experience over many years). Units in kitchen collapsing, a simple fix for a reasonably competent person. Cupboards with masses of cooking utensils in storeroom but some of the past their sell by date and should be discarded also storeroom shelves need a good clean. Too many items eg hotplate, cooker have 'do not use' signs on them again simple maintenance. Barbecue has definitely seen better days, it needs replacing, also it took 45 mins to clean to acceptable usable standard.

The hotplate is working and uses gas so it may be that the bottle ran out of gas but in this case, all the guest needs to do is ask the owner who will replace it right away. The barbecue will be replaced for the upcoming rental season. Thanks again for taking the time to provide your feedback.

    A beautiful house in lovely grounds. Very spacious accommodation. Ideal location for touring the area. Great to be able to walk to the village bakery and a small Carrefour. Annie the owner is very welcoming and helpful.
