Lovely break over the new year. Cottage had everything we needed. Cosy, comfy and clean. Christmas tree on the green opposite was an added touch.

Marie Claire is a delightful cottage facing the village green in Hampswaithe with parking. The cottage is fitted out like a home from home. We have stayed twice and hope to go again.

A home from home! The owners had gone out of their way with all the little extra's they provided, there was a lovely tea tray set up, beautiful flowers and everything was presented with a flair. Unlike other holiday cottages we have stayed in, it wasn't an empty shell with the bare essential put in, there really was every thing you could need and the space to store your own gear. The bonus was we had our 14 year old son all to ourselves as there was no Wi-Fi. The only down side was the local pub had closed the week before so we weren't able to walk to eat out in the evenings, which we had planned to do.
