Delightful cottage - did everything for us we wanted. I guess the only thing I might suggest is better lighting - particularly in the kitchen - but there was a standard lamp we moved from the living room through to the kitchen so we could see well enough to cook and to eat so all was well in the end. Otherwise lovely place

Lovely cottage, nice touches added such as cakes and enough toilet paper, toys for the children, books etc Good location and would return. A few things to note that isn't mentioned here.. 1. The sun room stinks. It's vile, made us feel sick. They really need to get that sorted. 2. You have to strip the beds before you leave. This was so stressful when you have to leave by 10 and your disabled. And while your there you have to take the bins out on bin night and take your rubbish to the end of the drive. I'm disabled so if I had I known this I would of reconsidered staying here. I wouldn't come here without someone who could do all this and this should be on the info before booking. Ps the drive is very long, I had to drive back and forth for the rubbish. Also you have to wipe down fridge etc. If you have glass, you have to take it to the village to recycle! Never stayed somewhere with such rules and we go away 1-2 times a month. 3. Heating kept going off which was a real pain! Had to keep running upstairs to switch it back on. 4. Found mouldy food (pasta) under the table yuk

This pleasant traditional house (too big to be a cottage I think!) is in an awesome location. Set in delightfully peaceful and private grounds at the end of a gated drive, yet only a short walk from the excellent Black Lion pub and a short cycle to the Brechfa MTB trails. Our mountain-biking group will definitely be back, if you'll have us!
