We had a fabulous week staying in the cottage. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed lots of lovely walks. It is a shame that you cannot access the lake directly infront of the cottage but we did enjoy a long walk on the other side of the lake from Strathyre to Callander. The cottage is very warm, comfortable and well equipped, even including family games and DVDs. We are a family which enjoys long hot baths and the hot water supply was a little lacking for this, but that was the only negative.

It was a lovely cottage set in a most beautiful location. The facilities were, in the main, perfect. Only negative points were firstly the heating in the lounge / kitchen open-plan area - it always felt a bit cold and the heaters there were not very effective. Also the mattress in the double-bed in the downstairs bedroom was found to be a bit hard and uncomfortable.

First class comfortable accommodation where the owner had thought of everything you could possibly need while staying in the cottage. All equipment, linen and towels spotlessly clean. A great location for exploring beautiful Perthshire from. Our two boys aged 6 and 4, were always delighted to return to the cottage for fun in the garden. We knew about the steep overhang there so it was not a great problem. The views over Loch Lubnaig as darkness fell were splendid. We would love to return.
