A lovely and relaxing week in a really nice little cottage, located in a very rural and picturesque area. We had some nice walks, as well as quiet times indoors reading and watching tv, oh and some excellent food and drink at the Peter Tavy inn, just a few minutes walk away.

Lovely cottage in a quiet village with a dog friendly pub. There are walks from this pretty village and you are not far from Tavistock which is very nice. Great place to spend your holiday . The gardens of the property you can only dream of.

Over our many years with cottages, Lower Mill has the most lovely setting and is so cosy and extremely comfortable. The welcome from Claire and Vaughan . together with the cream tea on arrival and flowers were greatly appreciated. Our best cottage ever including the weather. Thank you both so much.

Absolutely delightful cottage. Fresh flowers and welcoming cream tea were a lovely touch. Owners were very friendly, and encouraged us to make use of their wonderful garden, yet did not intrude at all. House book with instructions and tips was comprehensive. We did not have a dog but if we had they even provided doggy towels for use after those lovely walks on the moors, which we did enjoy.

A lovely location in a lovely little village. Claire and Vaughan are fantastic hosts who make you feel very welcome, but do not impose themselves in any way. We didn't have to ask for anything as the cottage is very well equipped, but certainly felt that if we needed anything else, all we needed to do was ask. The beautiful gardens which were open to us at any time were a lovely bonus, although we did tend to be out and about quite a bit. The one slight downside, if it can be called that, is that you really needed a car to get out and about, although we tended to walk a lot. Tavistock is lovely and about an hour's walk following the local cycle route ( the downside being that you had to walk about a mile on the road). The local pub was excellent and served good grub if you couldn't be bothered to cook! Overall, a fantastic relaxing holiday. Will certainly return if the opportunity arises.
