We were grateful to be offered a substitute for our original booking as the owners of that property were in difficulties. The owners were delightful, very helpful and friendly, and the area was most interesting. Our enjoyment was somewhat marred by difficulties in getting to bed - we are both in our 70s and found the sloping roof difficult. To be fair, Andrew did say that he was anxious about how we would manage and was concerned for our welfare. Perhaps this would suit younger people better.

Our fourth visit (me and cat!)- we had a lovely time, getting to be home from home, Penny and Andrew very welcoming as always. Lucky with the weather and there were piglets and lambs

We were visiting family to help with building work, so slightly different from holiday, but had a great time and was a real treat to be in lovely location. Excellent clean accomodation, kitchen well equiped and I was able to make proper meal every evening. Our dog loved the farm too, with plenty of areas to walk and the owners were very accomodating. Only slight downside is the limited head room on the mezanine floor, which would probably be better if you took the option to have the King split to two Singles, as you could walk up middle, rather than squash up sides where low ceiling is. Also if weather not great and you needed to be indoors for long periods, a more comfortable sofa and bigger TV would be beneficial - but for holiday breaks where you are out and about these are definitely not an issue.

Lovely, comfortable, very small cottage. Absolutely ideal for a couple. Kitted out beautifully - everything you could possibly need on a weeks holiday stay. Very private and lovely, relaxing garden area to sit in the sun and soak it all in. The setting is beautiful with the chickens, piggies and sheep adding interest and joy. The walk to the picturesque village across the owners private field added to our enjoyment. Our hosts could not have been better - very friendly and so helpful. Highly recommended.

third visit - shame we couldn't stay for longer my cat feels really at home as soon as we arrive now - and thank you to the family in the cottage next door who were very kind when she crept into the wrong cottage. Lovely to see Penny and Andrew, as welcoming as ever.

Rather expensive for what it is. Friendly welcome.
