We would have given our holiday 10 out of 10, but it was ruined on our arrival. The owner was very abrupt with us, as we had not phoned her previously 2-3 days before our arrival to tell her what time we were arriving. We had a very hectic week and we missed this on our paperwork and we apologised for this mistake. So if you are going to stay at this beautiful, well equipped cottage please do telephone 2-3 days before to say what time you are arriving to avoid the same treatment as we received. My 16 year old son said it was the best cottage we have ever stayed in. The owners husband was really friendly though and told us all the best places to go. The snooker room went down very well. Excellent holiday but we just felt like we were treading on egg shells as the owners live opposite the cottage.

A beautiful cottage equipped with everything you need. We received a warm welcome from the friendly owners who continued to check that we had all we needed. The snooker table is an added bonus. The location is not too far to travel to the coast. It's a shame that the village pub is closed but the owners can point you in the direction of an excellent inn. Our only complaint was that the beds were so comfortable that it was an effort to get out of them in the mornings!
