Lovely and comfortable cosy and warm. Could do with a bigger table as there was 10 in our party and table only took 8 people, lucky for us we had 2 children so they could sit at a small table.

A great base for exploring Hay and the surrounding countryside. There is such a beautiful outlook from the cottage and lovely gardens. On a clear night the sky is simply amazing.

A lovely house in a spectacular location with stunning views. Comfortable and well equipped. Close to Hay with all its bookshops and antique shops. Also a good supermarket. Lovely walk down to the River Wye. Lots of wildlife- rabbits, buzzards, red kites, bats at dusk and owls hooting in the night. We loved it!

A beautiful comfortable tranquil place to stay, which has absorbed our party of 8 adults spanning 3 generations and a dog most hospitably. The view from the terrace and main rooms is stunning and the walk through the woods to the river a great start and end to the day.

We had an excellent week at Longlands. The cottage has a secluded private setting with great views to the Brecon Beacons and conveniently near to Hay on Wye, which has good shopping. Good for families with dogs, although garden is not enclosed. Inside is spacious and comfortable, with reasonable kitchen facilities. Some areas are showing their age a bit, but this is reflected in reasonable price.
