This property is part of our Cottages4you collection

In superb locations and beautiful settings. Cottages4you gives you a fantastic range of hand-picked properties with quality you can rely on.

Located on Loch Lomond, this property has direct access to the shoreline jetty and is an ideal holiday base.

Loch Lomond, backed by the wooded slopes of Ben Lomond, is the setting for this attractively furnished timber holiday lodge set within Scotland’s first National Park. Located in a private park of 38 properties, it has direct access to the shoreline jetty (boat launching, booked through the hotel). Pleasure cruises are available from the nearby village of Balmaha. There are plenty of challenges for walkers in the area; the 92 mile West Highland Way passes alongside the loch, and runs from Milngavie to Fort William, while the route up Ben Lomond offers scope to ’Munro Baggers’. Within easy driving reach are Stirling, Inverary Castle, Loch Lomond shores and the lovely Trossachs area. The loch’s surroundings have easy walking and the water near the shore offers swimming in warm weather. Further afield, Balloch Castle Country Park covers 200 acres with nature trails, guided walks and views of the loch and the castle, built in 1808 and including a visitor’s centre. There is no shop on the site but a seasonal one is 3 miles away, and Drymen, 11 miles, has a range of small shops. Rowardennan Hotel/pub, 200 yards, offers a warm welcome and good food around the year.

Loved staying here, the area is stunning. It's a lovely quiet site with glorious views across the loch. The accommodation has everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen, info galore, and plenty of games to play. Could stay there forever. Highly recommended.

I have stayed In Lomond View For Years, Christmas, New Year Sept & May and I love it. This year was no different apart from whoever is looking after the place for Brian needs to be talked to: There was a poo left in the toilet in the bathroom. Dishes left in the dishwasher. no light in the small bedroom even though someone had wrote in the visitors book back in March about it. The water trips every time you switch the grill on, again wrote in the visitors book. Only one wine glass but already spoke to Brian about this on holiday. I love this place its not a complaint it just need addressing Thankyou
