Very disappointed, overall the only positive was the location. We knew not to expect much, but this does not excuse the uncleanliness and shabbiness of the cabin. The whole cabin needs updating, water pours through the window frames when it rains, and the kitchen and bathroom are unacceptable. Not worth the money charged. Would not go again.

View is only visible from patio outside front door and window near front door. If it rains, you're soaked by the time you reach the car park. Cottage was grubby, oven filthy, microwave turntable encrusted. Smell coming from drawer unit in kitchen, spent sat morning cleaning kitchen , had to buy candles &air freshener to try to disguise smell. Hot water in kitchen sporadic, but in bathroom boiling hot, had to carry water through in bowl. Need to be careful with young children washing hands in bathroom, danger of scalding!!! Bed linen needs refreshing, all bobbly!!!! Unable to get out of Jason Rd on the Sunday as marathon happened.. as I'm disabled, unable to walk any distance, so lost a day of my holiday, would have been a bit better if there'd been a sunlounger or barbecue. If it rains you're soaked through by the time you get to the car park. I have been staying in Freshwater East at least twice a year for 5 yrs, and this is the worst place for amenities I've experienced. Charging far too much for what's offered!

Had a lovely time if kitchen and bathroom facilities are not a priority you will have a great holiday like us. Ten minutes to beach down footpath with lovley views and 2minute walk to car park but easy to drive to cottage to drop off shopping etc.

Quirky, Quaint and Quick to warm your heart. A lovely little hideaway in our favourite "lil patch of Heaven way out West". If you like perfect then this isn't for you but if you love the fun of something different then you will most definitely love the Log Cabin. We had our first ever Christmas away from home and it had more than enough charm to make it a wonderful day. Who could ask for more, the Pub up the road, a view to capture your heart every day and we had wonderful weather, which did help ;-)

The cabin was in a lovely location but the only thing that lets it down is the kitchen and bathroom there is no cupboard space to put away or prepare good the cooker is a baby belling with a hob water heaters are both got and miss If this cottage had the back area sorted ( kitchen , bathroom and 3rd bedroom it would be 10 all the way

Quiet, not overlooked, fabulous views with Coastal Path access. Our third visit - booked again for next year.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our week in the cabin. Its in a great spot and, while dated, had a lot of charm. During our first weekend we had some wild weather so spent a lot of time in the cabin with friends who were camping nearby and it did not feel cramped as the main room is a good size. It is light and has a nice view. The routes down to the beach were fine for our young children (despite other reviewers' comments). Whilst the property could be improved, and indeed many cabins are being replaced with modern versions, that would lose the charm and no doubt increase the cost considerably. I prefer it as it is.
