We have been here for the past three years and have booked again for next year, the location is second to none absolutely wonderful, the bungalow has been well designed, the quality of the beds could be so much better but I suppose you cannot have everything, I would recommend this place to anyone it is fabulous,

Beautiful lochside cottage with breathtaking scenery from the window. But under the beds hadn't been swept in a while, the back of the benches in the kitchen were greasy. There was no washing up liquid or cloth so had to go straight to store to buy some. There should be at least one smoke alarm in the property and the notice concerning bin day should be in a prominent position as we didn't find it in the cupboard until Tuesday. The neighbour is very rude, shouted at my son within minutes of arriving for stepping on her grass!!! There needs to be a 'do and dont's' list regarding neighbours as to what they don't like you doing ie stepping in their grass, kids can't enjoy themselves on the beach throwing stones in the water as "it spoils the beach for high tide" etc We also experienced high paranormal activity especially night time, banging on windows, scratching and banging through the cottage, footsteps and doors opening and my youngest son saw it. But on a plus note the wildlife we saw from the cottage was brilliant, family of swans, a otter, a seal, Canadian geese, a heron visited every am and pm. The glass dining room table is not very child friendly as my 2 year old clobbered her head on the corners a few times. I love the area but certainly would not pay to stay in this cottage to have it ruined again by the neighbours and ghostly visitor

this is a fabulous property in a a lovely location. The property was in need of a spring clean. Tie backs missing for curtains, skirting boards had an accumulation of dust. There had been a leak from the window that had not been repainted and some lights in the kitchen were not working - general internal maintenance was poor. The kitchen did not provide tea towels or oven gloves. Linen/towels were old and in need of replacement. We did have a really nice holiday though

The view was spectacular and was what absolutely made the holiday. The house is in need of TLC. Some suggestions which would enhance this house and therefore the experience are: A coat of paint would transform it. Curtain tie backs (metal) detached from walls in two rooms. Bath towels were of varying sizes and some not that big at all. Had it been 8 adults some would not have been that happy. There were no charging points for razors or electric toothbrushes in the bathroom. Not all beds had two pillows. On stripping beds when leaving it was extremely disappointing to note the state of the pillows which were in situe. Overall this is a very bootable accomodation just needs someone to love it. It would not take much whatsoever to restore this house and it would then be the complete package.

Amazing location plus glorious weather made it a holiday to remember. We did not need Tv in the evenings, just watched the loch (through the window wall) which was visited by a seal, sea otter and herons which really thrilled the children; and adults. The accommodation was clean, but some attention to detail is required. A lack of oven gloves was annoying (safety) as was a distinct shortage of mugs. The en-suite shower hangs loose in its fitting and its drain blocks easily. We had to buy drain unblocker. The sun shade is also broken.
