Description

A charming cottage with an open fire and a large garden bordering red squirrel woodland. Plas Newydd and beaches easily reached.

Built in the 1830s, Llety Pinc is situated near the village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll and is a delightful, single-storey detached holiday property, set in its own large lawned gardens, bordering red squirrel woodland with distant views of Snowdonia. Careful restoration has retained many original features and offers a very spacious property, with the interiors being beautifully furnished with many fine Welsh antiques, collectables and artwork. On entering the property, the large reception hall offers a luggage area and information on a wealth of attractions that Anglesey and Snowdonia has to offer. The Plas Newydd Estate (NT) is nearby, home of the Marquess of Anglesey, famous for its painting by Rex Whistler, and lovely grounds running down to the shores of the Menai Straits. A perfect location for exploring Anglesey with many opportunities for interesting days out, including rib rides and fishing trips on the Straits, stunning beaches, fabulous walking, golf, horse riding, historic Beaumaris Castle and of course, the Snowdonia National Park. Shop and pub 1 mile.

Large reception hall. Living room with open fire and garden door. Dining room. Kitchen. Utility room. Double bedroom with antique 5ft 6in bed. Twin bedroom. 2 bathrooms with roll-top bath, shower attachment, separate shower cubicle and toilet.

Absolutely fabulous, beautiful, cosy and very homely. Lovely welcoming goodies when we arrived and very beautifully furnished. Great beds extremely comfortable and high standard of furnishings and bathrooms, It was a real pleasure to stay here and we will definately be returning. The owner Pat was very helpful and will do everything to make your stay perfect. I can't praise it enough. Location brilliant for exploring the island.

This cottage is spectacular. If you are considering renting it - don't hesitate - sign up immediately. We stayed for just one week and were made so welcome. On our arrival, Pat had left tea, coffee, milk, butter and tasty Bara Brith for us. The cottage is furnished with typical Welsh furniture and so cosy you feel at home immediately. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and if you don't feel like cooking there are excellent cafe's, restaurants and pubs close by. (Try Hooton's Farm (down the road) for a ginormous breakfast. The Marrom Grass restaurant is a 'must do'). The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms huge and VERY hot water. Bliss. It's within easy reach of anywhere on the island and directly opposite Plas Newyd, which is worth a visit. Wifi is available and although we were warned it could be 'erratic', we had no problems with access. We have stayed in many cottages and this has to be one of the best. The only negative I can think of was that it wasn't cold enough to light the fire. Perhaps we will return in the winter months. Many thanks for a great stay.

We recently stayed for a week at the end of August. The place was beautifully presented. I was amazed at how large the property was and all the lovely things the owners had filled the property with. The free standing bath for me was divine. The weather being lovely we took advantage of the beautiful garden and the extremely comfortable loungers. A fantastic week.

Absolutely perfect. This was our second stay in the cottage and Pat bought our girls little presents on arrival. They can't do enough for you. The place is pristine, beautifully equipped, and in a lovely location. Will definitely stay again

A very unique cottage which had stacks of space and lots of equipment. The rambling nature of it was a little unsettling as there are no other buildings close by. The busy road and no pavements meant that we could not go anywhere without a car. A lovely period cottage full of relevant furniture and antiquities.

Beautiful property and very spacious compared to some holiday properties. Great deal of thought has been put into this holiday home. Pat has thought of absolutely everything for your comfort and it was nice to have a little Welsh history added. Would not hesitate to book a further holiday
