We only stayed for a few days & due to the time of year it was cold. The heating was preset to come on & go off & there was no way of overriding it or boosting it, as a result we got quite cold. There was ample wood provided for the wood burners but it would not burn ( & we are used to open fires so it wasn't down to us). The cottage was nice . The kitchen was reasonably equipped. The bed was comfortable but there was nowhere in the bedroom to hang your clothes.

Just arrived back from a fantastic week away at Llanerch-y-Baedd and firstly the owner Lou is very polite, helpful but none intrusive. The place is as described, very private with stunning views. What we liked best travelling with dogs was the gardens and grounds it’s set in are totally secure! We could let them run free knowing they couldn’t escape especially with sheep in surrounding fields. The cottage itself is warm comfortable with everything you need and as for the drive up we found it very easy in a mondo estate ( seems to of been resurfaced most of the way up) whizzed up it, the only thing we had to be careful of is to avoid the local wildlife pheasants and squirrels on the way up. The tv has been updated to a modern flatscreen since the website photos were uploaded. Total peace and quiet but Bala 12 minutes drive away with plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants etc. If you fancy a run out we would recommend travelling to Newborough beach & forest an hour and a half away but worth it the scenery from Betws-y-coed to Bethesda is stunning and when you arrive there’s miles of beach and forest to walk. Will definitely be booking again next year, thanks again Lou, Graham & Kay.

Beautiful property in a stunning location. The property is clean, spacious and well equipped with a great size enclosed garden. The views from the property are stunning and the location is great for visiting Llangollen and Betwys Coed
