Description

Old stone cottage, with Chipping Campden close by, and Stratford upon Avon with its theatre and butterfly farm nearby.

A delightful old stone cottage tucked away in Ilmington in the Warwickshire Cotswolds. The attached cottage is found in the heart of this pretty village and is well situated to explore the locality, including Shakespeare Country. It is just a short distance from the beautiful market town of Chipping Campden and less than 8 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. As well as visiting Stratford’s historic houses, there is the theatre and butterfly farm, or take a stroll around the shops, scenic riverside and canal basin. Enjoy walking the many footpaths in the area with superb panoramic views. A few miles away are Hidcote and Kiftsgate Gardens - well worth a visit. Shop 6 miles, pub ¼ mile.

Cosy living room with open fire. Two steps down to farmhouse-style kitchen with dining area and vinyl floor. First floor: Double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet (step down from shower cubicle to toilet and basin).

Open fire - initial fuel included, thereafter available locally. Electricity, electricity rads, bed linen and towels included. Cot. High chair. TV. DVD. Radio/CD. Microwave. Small ‘secret’ garden with terrace and furniture. On road parking for 1 car. No smoking.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is cute and the village is lovely with a fab pub close by that are friendly and helpful and love dogs.

The most pretty of villages, the local pubs are really worth a visit. I was disappointed that the garden was not attached to the cottage. We had a dog with us and it would of been more convenient to of just opened a back door rather than trot up the road
