Lovely cottage in a very peaceful location. Lovely walks close by, and Annette was very hospitable. Nicely decorated with plenty of space for two!

We had a very relaxed holiday in this peaceful setting. The owners were most helpful if needed but otherwise, kept to themselves. It was well-equipped and cosy.

Exellent cottage, beautifully furnished and well equipped. Really lovely hosts and superb location. Would definitely recommend it and go again. Some reviews seem to have scored it slightly lower for lack of amenities (shops etc) but the whole point of a country retreat is surely to get away from these things! Only very slight drawback was the fairly weak internet connection, but as above, I went on holiday to get away from screens etc, so didn't bother me (hubby wanted to catch up with past episodes of Bargain Hunt so was a wee bit disappointed! 😊) Although the cottage was advertised as pet friendly (and as a non pet owner I nearly didn't book it because of that) it was scrupulously clean and the cute little pot of doggy treats left on arrival (along with the yummy carrot cake) made me wish I had a dog to give them to!

An ideal site for holiday makers with dogs. 28 acres of meadow and woodland with full access, and owners of the property who are absolutely welcoming and helpful. People without dogs would also find it an excellent choice. Whilst quite isolated there is good access to major towns and walks. A real treat, we’ll be back.

Friendly welcome . Lots of land around the cottage. Very peaceful but isolated location . Dog made welcome although gardens are not enclosed. Very comfortable bed. Warm cottage.

This was a mini-break to celebrate a special birthday. The cottage and location were ideal and the owners were very helpful. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to visit again.

Great location perfect for a quiet getaway . Warm welcome from the owners . Fun to meet the animals too!Good local walks if you have dogs and owners always willing to recommend places to visit. Some brilliant restaurants within easy driving distance. Herefordshire is very under rated as a holiday destination. Will return some time soon! Only down side and its a small one is the Wi-fi connection in the cottage is very weak as it runs from the main house. Needs its own router.
