Customers’ Choice Award 2016, 2017 & 2018
Walk the South West Coastal Path, and explore the many seaside towns and villages from this coastal holiday property.

Little Trevean is a small hamlet of three stone barns lovingly converted and each with their own private hot tub (refs 29436, 29437 and 29438). Adjacent to the owners’ home, they are set in a peaceful rural location overlooking gardens and fields to the sea beyond. The area is popular with walkers, as the barns are just a short walk from the South West Coastal Path leading to a number of picturesque small beaches and coves including Prussia Cove and Perranuthnoe. The properties are just a few minutes drive to the historical town of Marazion, with tea rooms, art galleries, curiosity/craft shops and St Michaels Mount rising from the sea which can be reached at low tide on foot or high tide by small boat. The beautiful, long, white sandy beach of Mounts Bay is perfect for an afternoon stroll, sun bathing, swimming or kite surfing. It is just a 20-minute drive to the beach at Sennen, which is famous for its wild ocean and surfing. Visit the quaint fishing harbour of Newlyn and the picturesque village of Mousehole, legendary Lands End or the Minack open air theatre, cut in to the rock face with the ocean as backdrop. The busy town and harbour of Penzance with its long promenade and Lido is close by, or take a day trip to the beautiful Isles of Scilly by sea from Penzance or small aircraft from Lands End Airport. A 30-minute drive away is South Cornwall, with its tranquil sailing waters and the busy port of Falmouth, which is home to the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle. Visit the stunning Helford River and creeks which are popular for sailing, fishing or simply relaxing. The area has an abundance of tropical gardens to visit, including Trebah, Durgan, close to the Helford River, and Trelissike, just outside Truro. Within easy reach of the rugged North Coast, which is popular with surfers, with long beaches and sand dunes of Hayle and the pretty harbour and beaches of St Ives. Horse riding and golf nearby. Beach ¼ mile. Shop and pub ¼ mile, restaurant ½ mile. Refs 29436, 29437, 29438 and 27491 (located ¼ mile up the lane) can be booked together to accommodate up to 14 guests.

Enjoyed a very relaxing week at the Stable. The unit is warm, comfortable and well equipped. The owners Dawn and Ian were always on hand if you had any questions and were able to offer advise on where to visit and places to eat. The Stable is within walking distance of several coves and beaches and just a short drive to supermarkets and places of interest.

This was our 2nd visit after staying in the Stable two years ago. Our Fab memories did not disappoint and it was as excellent as before. I think that says it all. Will return again in the future.

We had a lovely stay here over New Year! The cottage is perfect, everything is as it should be. The hot tub adds that little extra and it's a lovely touch how it was ready to use straight upon arrival - just what was needed after a 5 hour drive. The cottage is in a good location for walks (muddy ones) and is very accessible to nearby towns and landmarks (Lands End, Lizard Point...) Plenty of coastal walks nearby too. We recommend Porthleven, this is not too far and lovely. We slept well every night as it is very quiet and the bed was comfy. We hope to be back as we really enjoyed it and so did our dog (it was his first holiday). Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. The location was absolutely ideal as it was central to all the places we wanted to go to. The hot tub was a great touch and being able to take our dog was perfect. The cottage itself had everything you could need was very cosy and comfortable. The owners who lived on the site were very helpful suggesting places of interest and our dog had great fun running around with their dogs. The local beaches were great for walking our dog, Marazion, Prussia Cove and Kynance Cove was stunning. The Kings Arms in Marazion did an amazing Sunday Roast and lunch in The Old Success in Sennen was lovely too. We would definitely love to come back.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage the furnishings were very good, it was warm and cosy. The kitchen area we found very well provided for as we like to cook a lot, everything was there that we needed. The owners are lovely friendly and helpful people and certainly gave us a helping hand when needed. The only thing that we found disappointing was the hot tub area, which would have been more attractive if it had been swept as there was a lot of dirt and accumulated leaves etc. It is also in full view of the car park, it does have a wood slatted fence around it, but you are able to see clearly in and out, so not very private.

A lovely place to stay very comfortable. Ian and Dawn were brilliant hosts both very knowledgeable of the local area. The property was very suitable for the dogs. We would have no hesitation in booking this property again.

Lovely place but for god sake do something about the cheap and really uncomfortable and small beds unable to sleep most nights

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; I was sorry to read this review but the bed is advertised as a double so as for saying it's small, I cannot make a double bed any bigger unfortunately they are as standard. I offer mattress toppers in the information folder and maybe this was not read, but unfortunately beds are very personal and we have mixed comments from a best nights sleep to uncomfortable. But when we have been away no bed is like your own, every mattress is being replaced this year and I'm sure it will still not be agreeable with everyone.
