We loved the cottage and it’s position and didn’t find the road a problem despite the reviews, we even managed to get a cab there a few times! The cottage was amazingly equipped with kitchen utensils to body boards! The only things I could think of updating would be the sofas- arms etc look a bit tired and dirty now and perhaps the bedding. However saying this we would return. The house felt very cosy- gorgeous big lounge and stunning country kitchen.

Feels like home! not for elderly or very young due to tight stairs

It was a charming cottage but far too isolated very creepy at night with no outside lighting so total darkness. The mud road is a long way from the triangle where the road is better. Very slippery after rain with leaves etc. The cottage was very well equipped but the lighting inside was also intermittent and you never knew which lamps would work at night.

Lovely cottage and well equipped. Both the family and dogs loved it. Access road is ok with care but directions could be clearer and location is not what is shown on google map. It's the second road on left (with a sigm for Little Trellegast) after you take a eft turn on track. It's not the first right turn which google woul suggest

Great cottage and location is good but Road access needs to be kept clear instructions to find cottage could be made clearer suggest enter Gilly Lane and drive to top to unmade road then to take left turn and follow on to cottage keeping left

Unfortunately the start of our holiday was ruined because of the damage done to our car driving down the lane to the cottage. We were made aware that the lane was a unmade road but the severity was shocking to say the least. Our car which is a Vauxhall Insignia estate could have been quite capable of travelling down rough terrain as described in the notes but this was unacceptable. Our holiday has now cost us much more than expected and on this basis we wouldn't want to stay there again.
