Enjoyed a lovely family weekend at Little Orchard.A perfect location for family members from Cornwall and Essex to meet. Lovely and cosy and warm during a cold, snowy spell. Care and consideration shown by our host for our comfort and safety.

An ideal spot to stay - very quiet on the edge of the village, looking over fields, but with the village a 5 minute stroll away. Spacious and pleasant accommodation. Helpful owners next door.

Enjoyed our stay at Little Orchard, great base for exploring the Bath, Somerset and Bristol areas. Also a benefit was being able to use public transport from the village to both Bath and Bristol (more relaxing) than driving on the hectic A roads and the narrow lanes. The house was homely and comfortable.

We booked Little Orchard to attend our Son's Wedding in Bristol and to spend a few days in the area. The house was immaculate, clean and comfortable. A welcome home made cake was much appreciated and went down well ! High Littleton is convenient to visit Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Bath. Bristol and a number of NT properties. There a quite a few footpaths just out side the front door too if a walk is required. The property has recently been renovated to a high standard so its décor could be described as modern, yet homely. It is comfortably spacious and accepted 5 adults with ease (With two bathrooms, a bath and two shower it would have done six just as well .) Family friendly? I would say yes. Private? Again yes. Overall - a very nice property. As or son and his new wife live locally to Bristol, we hope to visit Little Orchard again in the future. So thank you.

There were two couples and a single adult. One couple from Australia, one from Bournemouth, and also from sussex All going to a wedding 3 miles away, on the Thursday. The happy couple also lived local so it suited everybody. A day trip to bath on the park and ride was enjoyed by all of us. The house was minimalistic, a few more oven dishes, mixing bowls and jugs would have been helpful, especially for the microwave. Plus some cleaning materials for the bathrooms.

Very warm welcome from the host with everything to make a hot drink on arrive and a delicious Home made cake to enjoy. A very light and airy building with good size rooms with lots of space for 6 people. excellent base for exploring the area by car. There are bus stops with good bus routes about half a mile from the house. To get to the bus stops you have to go up a long steep hill, which could be a problem for the less able. That said, we had a fantastic holiday in a lovely house with perfect views. We would definately stay here again.

Little Orchard is a super detached property that is finished to a very high standard ! It is very comfortable and has everything that you will need. Being just a few miles from the centre of Bath and Bristol it is well placed to see lots of cultural and historic attractions. Also within easy reach is Wells, Glastonbury, Longleat Safari Park and Stonehenge. It is great place to stay, spend the day visiting where ever your tastes take you, then come back to relax with a glass of wine and a bbq or visit the local pub for food, drink and a great atmosphere. Would recommend without doubt.
