A fantastic retreat whatever the season; relax in the south-facing garden, enjoy the peaceful location or explore the Suffolk coast.

The village is famous for the Snape Maltings, home of the Aldeburgh Festival of music and has an interesting range of boutique shops, galleries and antiques. An ideal spot for year round breaks, guests can enjoy al fresco dining in the fully enclosed south-facing garden after a day on the beach or sightseeing. Whilst on a winter break, enjoy bracing walks along the river to Iken, a cosy pub lunch and evenings in front of the roaring woodburner. Little Crofton is the ideal base for couples or small families to enjoy the delights of the Suffolk coast at Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, both a short drive away, or Orford, on the River Ore, a similar distance away. Slightly further away is the RSPB reserve at Minsmere, Southwold, Walberswick and the market town of Woodbridge. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile. Beautiful holiday home, warm, comfortable and well equipped. We were greated with a lovely hamper and made to feel really at home. Little Crofton is close to the lovely Snape Maltings and some really beautiful walks. We would definitely stay again, thank you !

This was the seventh time we have visited Little Crofton as we love the house and the area. There are lots of places we like to visit with our two Cavaliers so we can have a lovely relaxing time with some nice walks thrown in. Southwold is a must for us and we always have a lite lunch on the Pier with a walk from the Lifeboat Museum afterwards! Dunwich beach and heath, Sizewell, Snape Maltings, Sutton Hoo, Aldeburgh - the list just goes on and we never get bored!

Little Crofton is a modern well equipped home which with the addition of a large conservatory makes for more spacious living. We were a party of 4 adults with one dog and we had a very comfortable and quiet stay here. The location is very rural with many lovely walks near by plus two good pubs. You will need a car for food shopping but we did not find this a problem. It was our first visit to Suffolk and hopefully it will not be our last as there is so much to see - pretty villages and historic towns, castles, seaside places and Sutton Hoo to name but a few things to do.

A lovely comfortable well equipped house conveniently located for many of Suffolk's attractions. We particularly enjoyed the conservatory and found the bed most comfortable. The neighbours in the adjoining property were friendly and spoke to us.

A very cosy, warm, comfortable cottage. Every need catered for, and more. Local village shop had permanently closed, so need to get in car for daily newspaper or emergency items, which was a shame. Central for trips to coast or places of interest. We'll equipped play park/dog walk only a few minutes from cottage. This could be advertised in cottage as we stumbled on it ourselves. Lovely dog friendly place to stay.
