A simply gorgeous cottage that the family and I fell in love with. Full of character, but modern and tasteful, Little Burwood was a real home-from-home for the weekend. Perfect for families and a great base to visit all that Wiltshire and the surrounding area has to offer, the cottage is spotless, well equipped and very welcoming. Our children (10, 7 and 1 and a half) enjoyed settling down to a DVD in the comfy living area after a day of exploring, and made the most of the green outside our front door for a quick kick around with a football. The village of Urchfont is picture perfect and utterly charming. Our youngest particularly liked making acquaintance with the ducks by the village pond! The owner gifted milk and cake, which was a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture. Cannot recommend Little Burwood highly enough, and we very much hope to return sometime in the near future.

The cottage is in a lovely, peaceful village setting and the location was good for the places that we wished to visit. The owner made herself known to us shortly after our arrival and was keen to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Meals at the local pub were adequate but basic.

VFM was excellent as we stayed in early March. The owner came to see us to see that we were ok which was lovely. Milk and cake was kindly gifted. Wonderful cottage.

A beautiful cottage in a perfect village setting. I would recommend without hesitation although sharing next door's radio at 10.30pm every evening with a lady who is very hard of hearing was slightly disconcerting - particularly for our 2 young children sleeping in the front bedroom. Sadly, the noise would be enough to make me think very carefully about revisiting, which is a great shame as it is a wonderful cottage.
