In the other direction is Porthmadog, home to the famous Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railways. Portmeirion is close by, and the mountain ranges of northern Snowdonia, the village of Llanberis and the Llyn Peninsula are also within easy reach. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

The cottage was cute, big enough for a family of 4. The view across Cardigan Bay was stunning. The hot tub was great.

Beautiful views couldn't fault anything about it whatsoever. It was just too small . The owners couldn't have been nicer. The hot tub and views were the best. But we still enjoyed it.

A lovely little cottage with stunning views from the front door, gardens and hot tub. Perfect if you have a dog with you. Lots of outdoor space including a secure field to exercise our dog and an outdoor hose pipe for washing the dog. The heating system was great. The nights were cold and frosty during our stay but we were always warm enough in the cottage. The cottage contained everything we needed for our stay including a lovely welcome pack. Really useful info was provided by the owners on the best places to visit in the local area, attractions, beaches, restaurants, ect. which really helped us to make the most of our holiday. I would definitely stay at Little Barn again. A brilliant place to stay if you're after peace and quiet.

A lovely family break, albeit, a little cramped, more ideal for a couple wanting to get away from it all. The views and hot tub were amazing. It was an eco friendly barn with underfloor heating but it didn't feel very warm and couldn't be adjusted. A pleasant stay.

Cottage was very cosy, homely and comfy. Had all we needed for sleeping, eating, cooking, relaxing, cleaning and general living. Location was amazing. Sea views out front and rolling mountains up behind. Cottage was clean and tidy on arrival, ready for use, with some added essentials like milk and bread.

A beautiful little cottage set in the best location possible. A short distance from Snowdonia and the Ffestiniog railway makes it a great place to rest your head after a day of adventure in the beautiful Welsh scenery. I would highly recommend the local fishery Eisteddfa (based just 2 minutes down the road) for anyone who likes a spot of fly fishing!

I thoroughly recommend this cottage if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The cottage was clean and very well laid out with everything we could have needed including a lovely welcome present of a food package. The location is quiet and the views are stunning. I would certainly like to visit again.

We loved it so much. Gorgeous accommodation, stunning views. Very homely & everything you could need is there. A lovely generous welcome pack was waiting for us. Hot Tub fabulous. Low doorways downstairs & low beams upstairs.. So mind your head, but it just enhances the beauty of Little Barn. Criccieth is a beautiful place to be.
