Lisgordan House has been beautifully decorated and is a perfect place for a group of people to enjoy a relaxing break. A warm welcome from Gerard too with all his local knowledge and helpful hints and tips on places to visit, especially the local places to eat and drink. Highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at the Lisgordan House. There were 9 of us (family vacation), first time in Ireland and we couldn't have asked for anything more. The house felt like a home. All the amenities you could ask for in a beautiful country setting. Mr. O'Donovan was very accommodating in our late arrival. Even with our late arrival, he didn't rush us through the house. He took care to explain everything and provided us with a few much appreciated items for breakfast for our first morning. We grew to love tea! It was a wonderful, relaxing place to come back to each and every night of seeing the sights. Thank you so very much for the trip of our lifetime. So many great memories. We look forward to returning.

Beautiful property, warm welcome from the owner. Lack of seating in the lounge for 10 people, a few toddlers toys would have been appreciated. Lots of helpful local information left for us to read, had a very enjoyable stay.

What a fabulous place, beautiful views and quiet countryside. Really well equipped. Owner was very welcoming, as are the locals we encountered. We all loved it. Really recommend.

What a fantastic house and Gar is a superb host who could not do enough for you. The house was bright, comfortable and very plush. It had everything you needed and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. It was an excellent base to explore Ireland from. Unfortunately it was not in walking distance (more than one mile and all county roads) to the pub and Newcastle West the main shopping area was around 10 minutes drive so you have to ensure you didn't forget anything as there was no popping back to the shop.
