This large period property has been lovingly restored by Gerard and his family, and what a fabulous job they have done. The rural location may not be to everyone's liking, but the peaceful surroundings suited us well. In any event, all necessary amenities are within a 10-15 minutes drive, as also is the N21, giving good access to much of the south west corner of Ireland. Overall, Lisgordon House provides a very spacious and comfortable holiday home, with three large en-suite bedrooms, two other bedrooms, a spacious lounge, a large dining kitchen and a well-equipped laundry room. We were a party of 6 adults and never once felt that we were tripping over each other. Gerard was an attentive and gracious host and took good care of us throughout our stay. Highly recommended.
