So cute! 2 of us in our group were a couple and this is definitely the couple's cottage - 4-poster, enormous tub, excellent shower, very nice kitchen, small comfortable sitting room. It was really nice for this couple to be able to be apart from the rest of us when they wanted but also easily able to share in with us all too. Everything works a treat and there's gallons of hot water, as well as good clothes washing facilities. All the cottages have dishwashers too and we really appreciated this as there was washing-up for 10 of us to do each evening!

within a courtyard with no outlook other than a shed directly opposite which was overflowing with rubbish, bags bitten open ( rats?) other people's dogs fouled outside our door and we had to clean it up. cobwebs in main room and settee not very comfortable. However, Tarr Steps on the doorstep and the views and drive across the moor superb. Local hotel, restaurant Tarr Farm very expensive food and not much of it the steak was toogh and grisly.

We had a lovely stay whilst visiting family. For us we wanted somewhere that was out of the way but had been under the impression that local amenities were closer than they were. Long journey by car for groceries and only a few bits in the house to get us started but fairly minimal. The place was clean although needed a refresh I think as lots of dust and cobwebs in areas you wouldn't have expected if done for our arrival. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was gorgeous though so overall we had a lovely stay.

What a great Cottage, a lot of space which we like especially in the Bathroom. Great location, walked the dog down to Tarr Steps each morning, lots of wild life to see and hear. We will rent it again, I hope soon.

A good location for exploring Exmoor, basically functional, excellent heating, little character, spacious for two.
