The cottage was very foisty when entering the property and found that the down stairs bathroom radiator had been leaking for months and had leaked rusty water all over the carpet. We informed the owners of this and they came and took the carpet up and left us With no carpet on a concrete floor for the whole week with just place mats.

Lovely cottage, well equipped and ideally located for exploring the Exmoor area both by car and walking. Lovely pub with fab food in walking distance. Great ice cream up the road at the farm. Anything more than this requires a car. Really peaceful remote location. Only downside was outside area was out of the sun in the evenings, but there was a shared grass area on site. Loads of wildlife, owls, buzzards, right at the door. Exmoor is lovely, and so much within an hour or so drive. Costal resorts, lovely villages and towns, spectacular walks and scenery, historic buildings. Had a fabulous holiday here.

Another fantastic long weekend at Ash Cottage for me and my family, this must be our 4th or 5th stay. The walks are superb the dairy farm a must and the ice cream to die for. Everything you need for a get away is here. We're looking forward to our next visit.

The cottage was lovely. Comfortable beds & cosy living room. Kitchen was nice & had everything we needed. A small issue with the hot water for bath/showers. It was a bit tempremental & ran cold occasionally.

A great place to relax and see the wonders of Exmoor. The pheasants were a challenge on the roads but they made us smile! All in all a fabulous holiday - thank you!

Everything about the cottage was great apart from the comfort of the beds. We were all awaking with terrible backache with my daughter eventually moving to sleep on the couch. When these are sorted this cottage will be an A plus.
