First time we have stayed in a lodge and we were not disappointed. Everything we needed was there, and location was superb.

Holiday lodge was very clean, spacious and presented well. Only a couple of negatives , duvet covers were dated and used many many times and therefore dated , faded and tatty. Sofas very "noisy" and difficult to sit on, tv was small and remote held together by an elastic band- back kept coming off! No dishcloth available to wipe down sides and wash dishes. On the whole very nice accommodation well equipped just basics need to be available and updated.

Spaceous lodge, nicely decorated, clean and well maintained, although the sofa's do need updating. Located in a beautiful, quiet area next to a golf course. Only a 5 minute stroll to Sewerby Gardens and 10 minutes to the seafront. The break was relaxing and we would definitely return.

Lovely location. I would not give this lodge 4 star rating though. It needs a bit of TLC. Can't use shower in main room as screen doesn't stay closed, so tried shower in twin room and head needs attention, water doesn't come out of all holes. Bed very comfy, but needs new pillows, and bedding didn't match, was very tired, quilt too thin and cold first night, had to put single quilts on top, so good job there was only 2 of us in lodge. As mentioned in other reviews settees not comfy. All could be rectified for little cost. It would then warrant it's 4 stars.

The location was perfect, the only down falls were terrible sofas, a few fittings that need attention to like the back door lock very stiff & blinds held up by paper clips, other than them details listed the cabin was fantastic very comfy beds & a bathroom in each bedroom was just perfect, heating red hot water in bath/shower too, Parking for 2 cars which was a bonus, will defiantly be returning but hopefully to new sofas as the current cream leather sofas were very uncomfortable.

the lodge was lovely the only problem were the leather settees they were very low & uncomfortable ,it's what you miss when on holiday ,I wish people who let their properties would take this into consideration because when you are of tha older generation when you have been out for the day it's so nice to put your feet up,this was the only complaint & it's not only with the lodge we find this on most the propertys we rant ,the lodge was lovely & warm & cosy

After staying in four other lodges on this site which have all been extremely well furnished and equipped we were disappointed with the overall condition of the equipment on offer. As examples: there was a shelf missing in the fridge which made storing food very difficult. The cooker had lost its numbering and we were given a piece of paper showing the position of the numbering on the dials. There was a large split down the center of the dining room table. The cooking equipment was lacking with the only frying pan being very small, no roasting tin and the crockery was a mixtureof mismatched plates and mugs with no cups, although there were plenty. The towels and bedding were very thin and worn. The bedside lamps were not matching and there was no beside lamp or table in the twin room meaning our elderly mum had to get out of bed to turn off the light. This could have been resolved by putting a second light switch by the bed. The outside space was good but the wooden fencing is in need of repainting and was lacking badly. As I said before all these problems have neverbeen an issue in any of the other lodges we have stayed in and could easily be remedied with a little time and money spent.
