Description

Enjoy the open countryside as you relax in this tranquil setting, ideally located to venture to nearby towns and coast.

Great cottage, photos on internet didn't do it justice. Would have liked WiFi.

Lime tree cottage is lovely. Needs a little attention in places but nothing that spoilt our stay. Although the pool is now shared by all the estate it was never busy while we were there. Our only issue is how far the cottage is from any amenities. We were hoping to walk places most of our stay but this is impossible. It would be useful to put a note on the website that a car is essential for a stay here. We had a pleasant stay but would not return due to the location.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We are sorry that the location of our cottage was not to your liking. The property details do describe it as being in a tranquil setting surrounded by open countryside. Most people enjoy the unique and peaceful setting but we can understand that this is not for everyone. However, the setting does seem to have coloured your view of the cottage. Both the oven (Neff double stainless steel) and the dishwasher (Neff stainless steel) were newly installed a couple of years ago. While it is true that you reported a problem with the dishwasher, an engineer attended the next day and cleared the blockage (caused by food) so we hope you were not inconvenienced for too long. Wi-Fi is not offered (or included in the details) because the signal in this area is variable and we feel it’s better not to risk letting people down. Thank you for your feedback.

Very clean and pleasant cottage with loads of kitchen equipment. Rooms were spacious and airy with good views. cottage warmed up fast due to automatic timer and log burner so no issues during winter. The TV and the shower could do with am upgrade as the group felt the tv was small for the size of the room. The shower had valve issues as the hot and cold was not mixing appropriately and chipped away the overall shower experience. Please note the cottage did not have WIFI connectivity as it stated in the listing and advert. so Beware!! It was good stay with plenty of onsite parking nevertheless!! Enjoy..

Fantastic cottage which was very clean and cosy. We stayed as a group of two families which included 4 adults and 4 children under 4! Swimming pool was great and had it all to ourselves (although my son did suffer a bit with sore eyes after, but nothing major!) Was nice and warm, facilities were great, only minor thing was the single beds could prob do with some new mattresses as I could feel the springs but saying that the kids slept well on them (with an extra blanket under them). Nice locals pubs which serve great food but you need to drive to them. There was a DVD player and kids games there which was handy too. Will be returning.

The cottage is a great size ,warm and welcoming . The pool is a great bonus and views are lovely . The kitchen and decor is getting a little dated now but still v clean . Really nice space and great for big family get togethers. We had the smaller cottage too and used the kitchen table to extend the dining table to accommodate 10 easily .

We had a brilliant time at Lime Tree cottage. The whole experiance was just lovely. The pool was much appreciated by us all, lovely location ,well thought out accommodation and two lovely pubs nearby. We were lucky with the weather, but there would be ample things to do if not. loads of games and dvds provided in the cottage. We hope to visit again.
