We had a brilliant time at Lime Tree cottage. The whole experiance was just lovely. The pool was much appreciated by us all, lovely location ,well thought out accommodation and two lovely pubs nearby. We were lucky with the weather, but there would be ample things to do if not. loads of games and dvds provided in the cottage. We hope to visit again.

The house could do with another bathroom for 8 people.

Lovely setting and the propert was larger than I expected, a nice surprise! As long as you have a car and are happy to drive the orbits a great location to pop into places like Southwold and Walberswick.

Well equipped large cottage in nice complex and has a pool/gym. However needs a decent TV and another Bath/Shower as sleeps 8 and could do with a repainted as looking a bit tired. Need a car as away from village amenities

1 bathroom for 8 people is ridiculous

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner: We’re sorry to hear that the single bathroom (plus additional toilet) did not meet your expectations but this was clearly stated in the property details. In practice, we often find that customers use the swimming pool (where there are 2 shower rooms) on a daily basis so use of the main bathroom can actually be quite light. We hope the shared bathroom did not impact your enjoyment of the holiday too much.

The cottage itself was lovely. Very well appointed, spacious and modern with a well equipped kitchen, the cottage was a fantastic place to stay and it was ģreat on arrival to find teabags, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits waiting for us.There were a few family games provided, children's toys, a full bookcase, a fair few dvds to keep us entertained and a drawer full of leaflets about local attractions. The beds were comfortable, but we would have appreciated a top sheet under the duvet for summer nights. Lots of clean fluffy towels were provided and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The floorboards upstairs were very noisy, light sleepers were often disturbed during the night when anyone was out of bed. The complex was very nice, felt upmarket and had interesting history, and the grounds were very attractive. However we were most disappointed by the fact that the swimming pool chemicals were so strong that one of our party suffered badly with eye irritation and another with burning sensations in the nose and throat. Both had to avoid the pool and missed out on their anticipated daily swim which was one of the main reasons for choosing to book. The pool water also severely bleached our swimwear, which had to be thrown away at the end of the holiday, and it completely stripped the dye out of two of our partys hair in minutes. The games room was also something of a let down, only having table football, and the gym was uncomfortably hot.

A fantastic weekend. Our children had a wonderful time enjoying the swimming pool and playing with all the toys. It was great to be able to cook a couple of meals in the well kitted out kitchen and then also grab some delicious meals at two of the local pubs. Definitely recommend.
